No.709: A 12 year old chance C.japonica seedling, first bloomed 1956; originated by Nuccio’s Nurseries, Altadena, California, USA. A semi-double, light pink, shading to coral pink at edges, with upright petals and a mass of yellow stamens, 11 cm in diameter. Vigorous, compact, upright growth. Mid-season blooming.
