White Jewel

ACS, Aug. 1996, The Camellia Journal, vol.51, No.2, p.31, Reg. No.2377. A miniature, white formal double seedling of Eyes of March, pollen parent unknown. Late flowering. Originated by E. Ray Bond, Dallas, Tex., USA. American Camellia Yearbook, 1996, p.5, colour photo before p.1. The 15 year old seedling first flowered in 1985. Average flower size is 4.5 cm across x 1.2 cm deep with 60 petals. Plant growth is upright, open and vigorous, with light green leaves 9.5 cm long x 4.5 cm wide.
