[Variety origin] Hunan Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Institute of Tea Leaf Research, 'Xiangbolü' is the mother plant, 'Gupu Niupu Cha' as the parent, using crossbreeding method. [Characteristics] Shrub type, mesophyll, strong growth potential, open tree posture, large leaf type, sparsely branched, leaf length 13.1 cm, width 6.4 cm, leaf blade oval, leaf insertion state slightly upward slanting. In Changsha area spring tea bud one leaf period in late March, the new buds and leaves yellowish-green, less hairy, buds fat, holding tenderness strong, a bud of three leaves 8.9 cm long, one hundred bud weight 79.6 grams. Spring tea bud two leaves biochemical samples containing tea polyphenols 28.0%, amino acids 3.7%, caffeine 4.6%, water leachate 42.6%. Suitable for green tea and black tea. Make green tea, color green, soup color yellow-green bright, tender fragrance persistent, floral, taste fresh and mellow, leaf bottom tender uniform green bright; make black tea, color black-brown oily, soup color red, flowers and fruits fragrance persistent, taste thick, flowers and fruits fragrance, leaf bottom red uniform bright. The first growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves of 1420 kg of fresh leaves, than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha' 16% increase in yield; the second growth cycle mu yield of one bud and two leaves of 1642 kg of fresh leaves, than the control 'Fuding Dabaicha' 24% increase in yield. 潇湘1号 (Camellia sinensis ‘Xiaoxiang 1’). 陈亮等. 2024.《中国茶树品种资源志（上卷）茶树登记品种》第416-417页.【申请者】湖南省茶叶研究所。【育种者】湖南省茶叶研究所，李赛君，段继华，雷雨，黄飞毅，王旭，罗意，康彦凯，郭嘉懿，董丽娟。【品种编号】非主要农作物品种登记号：GPD茶树（2019)430027。原湖南省农作物品种审定委员会非主要农作物品种登记编号：XPD007-2016。【品种来源】湖南省农业科学院茶叶研究所以‘湘波绿’为母本、‘古蔺牛皮茶’为父本，采用杂交育种法育成。【特征特性】灌木型，中生种，生长势强，树姿开张，大叶类，分枝较稀，叶片长度13.1厘米、宽度6.4厘米，叶片椭圆形，叶片着生状态稍上斜。在长沙地区春茶一芽一叶期在3月下旬，新梢芽叶黄绿色，茸毛少，芽头肥壮，持嫩性强，一芽三叶长8.9厘米、百芽重79.6克。春茶一芽二叶生化样含茶多酚28.0%，氨基酸3.7%，咖啡碱4.6%，水浸出物42.6%。适制绿茶和红茶。制绿茶，色泽绿润，汤色黄绿明亮，嫩香持久，有花香，味鲜醇，叶底嫩匀绿亮；制红茶，色泽黑褐油润，汤色红亮，花果香持久，滋味浓厚、有花果香，叶底红匀亮。第一生长周期亩产一芽二叶鲜叶1420千克，比对照‘福鼎大白茶’增产16%；第二生长周期亩产一芽二叶鲜叶1642千克，比对照‘福鼎大白茶’增产24%。中抗茶云纹叶枯病、茶炭疽病、茶饼病，中抗假眼小绿叶蝉、茶橙癭螨、咖啡小爪螨，抗寒性和抗旱性较强。【适宜种植区域及栽培技术要点】适宜在湖南、湖北、江西及广西茶区冬、春两季种植。中生种，注意搭配早生品种。
